any ever use hondata s300 boost controller./?
ok i have a greddy profec ebc and i love it but i just got hondata s300 and i heard i can use a gm solenoid to control the boost.. the reason i wanna switch is beacue i want boost by gear.. gredyy has the hi/lo but.. i dont wanna have to hit a damn button to change it while shifting to third.. is there anyway i can hook the gredyy box to the ecu to change form high to low boost by gear? if not who uses the s300 ebc and how do you like it ive heard bad about both.
The greddy profec e01 can do boost by gear also...
Hondata s300 can be setup to use a switched input for a high & low boost setting via boost by gear :-)

?? how do i do this elaborate im new to the hondata thing pm me.. and its a profec b2 it doesent have that capability .. just high low boost with a gournd switch.. how do i set that up where it will chang eit for me.. and how do i wire it up

You can't hook the greddy up to it. You need the GM Solenoid or I hear the Apexi solenoid works well.

ive read that crap it tells me nothing...
i know in neptune u can hook it up to a output signal liek the n20 controll kinda and make it switch form high to low boost using the greddy controller.. its just a ground switch? can it work with hondata

I have had my profec eo1 for 3 years and last time i checked it can not do boost by gear.

The S300 boost control setup works great. I prefer the AEM solenoid with it. Boost by gear, and the ability to toggle between to pre set boost by gear maps with a switch. Pretty much can't get a boost controller capable of doing what it does, as well as it does, for less than $700. That single reason in itself should be enough for anyone with 350+hp to justify getting an S300.

it can be done with n20 controls atleast.. i can set it to a mph to activate whatever mph my third gear hits when i shift..
ok so i know it can be done.. now how do i wire it up .. profec needs a ground signal.. do i just hook a wire to the profec then to the ecu pin that i use I.E. ac clutch pin. and at soo many mph does the ecu send a ground signal to the profec changing it.. somthihng about a relay or somthign they talked about at the hondata site?? i need a damn diagram..

its all there, what arent you understanding? the wiring? its there...

nono i dont want to use the gm solenoid i want to use my profec and have the s300 send a signal to it to change from low to high boost at a certain mph via the nitro control...
Just got off the dyno today actually and was setting it up. The GM solenoid works very well. It's holds boost well and is easy to wire up. You can use a variety of solenoids if you set them up correctly.

I was under the impression that the e01 units now had boost by gear options like an avcr. I guess not
