Clutch Chatter
i have an Exedy Organic clutch in my Si for about 2000-4000 miles. it's just started chattering a few weeks ago. it annoying and messing me up at the track really bad. i thought i was whel hop, but it's the clutch. is there any way to fix it? Or do i just go put in another clutch?
can it be from breaking it in wrong? cause i drove easy for 100 miles then abused the **** out of it, cause i was impatient

bent PP fingers, hot spots or glazing, all from not following the recommended break-in probably......you can try to work on the disk surface but i'd replace it all, you mite have bent fingers on the pressure plate or something...if its affecting your track performance, then you need to think about replacing it.

it's killing my track performance.
best track time was 15.2@96MPH with a 2.4 60'
i just got new tires and was finally hoping to hit a 2.2 or better 60' and get my mid 14 runs
now i'm getting worse than before a 2.5-.26 60' and the best 15.7@89 MPH

id consider replacing the pressure plate; replace the disk with a non organic material and follow the break in, then resurface the flywheel if its stock or if its an aluminum/chromoly piece, replace the heat shield...dont go to RIPP on lynhurst for anything involving a successful build
