another tuning question

Default another tuning question

ok so im finally putting my turbo kit on tomarrow . and so i was goin to put the fmu on till i get it tuned which will be on friday. the guy im getting it tuned with is in richmond in charlottesville they're about an hour apart. now should i leave the fmu on for the tune or take it off and get it tuned.

run ur stock injectors and dont boost...just drive conservative!

what do you have for management? if you are goin to install the injectors and ecu at the shop, leave the fmu off and stay out of boost on the way. but if you are affraid, limp it there.

but if you are on a base map, and bigger injectors, i would leave the fmu off and limp it there. i mean it isnt limp, just stay out of boost.

i would leave the fmu off...like said just drive up there and stay out of boost...

Evan i cant remember if you said you got bigger injectors already or not. Make sure you got big injectors before we tune.

well i just remebered i have to work thursday and wensdayso i was thinking put the fmu on to be safe but i will still be out of boost and then take it off when i put the injectors and ecu in.

depends on the car. We will try to get any bugs in your setup worked out while doing the street tuning so dyno tuning wont take any longer than 1-2hours.
