Ive got a stage 2b. I understand upgrading to datalogging is like another 200 dollars but I ended up with some datalogging software anyway. Will it work or is the datalogging option more than just a software upgrade? I ask this because I don't have a serial cable and don't want to wate my money if it doesn't work.

 

Datalogging requires a hardware change inside the blue box.
