another cam question for boosted b20/vtec
I was talking to my shop and they recommend a CTR intake came with ITR exhaust cam. Anyone got any input on this?

If you have stock gsr or stock si cams in there right now just keep them. There is gains to be seen from the cams (10-12ish hp) but not for the money that you need to spend on them. There have been many racing teams making 500+whp on the stock gsr cams. If you are really after some kind of other cams, then check out the crower turbo series they just released. Lots of lift, very little duration, perfect for forced induction. Personally i would just stay with whatever cams you are running and put the money into something more useful turbo related.

thanks. I'm actually looking at an ITR head on a b20 block, so I'd only have to change out 1 cam. If there is a descent 10+ hp difference, then I think it's worth the change for the price of a single cam.

I would stick with the stock GSR cams on a ported b16/18 head. The ITR head and cams is not that great for f/i IMHO, and a ported head costs just as much, with better airflow
