another boost spike
after days of research and trying everything i cant figure out why my car is spiking all the way to 17 psi when i have a 7 psi spring....any help would be appreciated...car ran fine until recently...
where are you catching your boost signal for the waste gate?
if it isn't before the throttle plate, preferable right off of the compressor housing, start there. make sure your waste gate has a boost signal, if it does, hook a mighty vac to it and see if it holds vacuum, if it doesn't, your diaphragm is ripped.

i have a line going from w/g (top of tial) to the bottom of my mbc and the other one out the side of mbc to the intake manifold. i have no nipple on the compressor of the turbo. Ran fine and had it tuned at 300 whp and all of a sudden its fawked...
What kind of MBC?
It could be sticking and causing a spike.
Does it hold steady at 17psi? Or, does it spike and then settle at a lower boost level?

if you are looking at a good e-bc, may i suggest either the blitz dual sbc, which i have at 17 psi right now, or baller style with the sbc-id which is on out tt-350z.

im not trying to be an ***, but why would you let your car boost that high and not taking your foot off of the gas pedal?
