analyze my plugs..

Default analyze my plugs..

these plugs are out of my z6 turbo.. as of now im running a bar of boost.. the plugs are ngk bkr7e.. apexi turbo kit on uberdata... how do they look?

Well from the first picture it looks kind of tan like they should be, but then in the second picture they look a little rich. Can you describe the color since the lighting in the picture is off?

the plugs look like how they do in the first picture.. they are brownish.. the only thing im worried about are the lil speckles on the plugs.. cant see them but there is a really small amount of white specks on the plugs..

too rich and timing is conservative. Next time take the plugs out while you are at a WOT run to see timing effects

I don't see any signs of detonation if that's what you're worried about, but like adesguy suggested pull the plugs at WOT.

thanks guys.. thats all i was wondering.. cuz truthfully i dont know how timing was set on the uber tune.. its at stock 16btc right now and has been for a long time.. so everything looks good right? and i'll stick a fresh batch of plugs in and do a quick WOT run and pull them out and take pics for u guys to analyze.. thanks again!

I thought Jason tuned your car?

Also, when you do a WOT pull turn the car off and coast to the side of the road. Your plugs are going to read the last condition. Meaning even if you drove 1/8 mile after your pull the plugs are going to show that 1/8 mile partial throttle drive and not your WOT pull.

yep cause at 7000rpms that spark is going to happen 116 times in one second so shut it off right there (or wherever redline is). What do you mean stock 16BTDC? what's your total timing at what PSI?

Are you sure that's healthy for the turbo?

By shutting off the car at redline right away, that turbo will die in a very hot and coking death

well jason didnt tune it.. he sent me a very very good map that i have been running for a while.. timing as of now is set to stock so i dont know how much timing he took off because he cant find the maps..
