To All With Turbos
Can you guys post what kind of engine, turbo, mods and problems you have had with your setup? Just want to see what people are running and how things are going with their setup. Thanks.
Use the search. Search the archived posts. You will find everything you want to know plus some stuff you werent even looking for. You learn more by actually searching for the answer than just asking a question and waiting for the answer to come to you.
I have a 96 EK with a 1998 GSR(stock), DRAG III Turbo kit(T3/T4E) - 8psi, TIAL wastegate, HKS BOV, ACT full face clutch with extreme pessure plate, and VAFC. I installed the turbo kit last week and everything is running really good so far. Knock on wood.
I have worked and got paid. It would be easier if someone would just give me a bunch of money.
BTW I have a 1979 honda prelude with a garrett t-15. No problems so far.

Been boosted for almost a year and I blew my headgasket, hit 13psi when my boost controller didnt feel like working.(although im sure it was many other things but this is when it started smoking)

13.8 was my best time on slicks at 5psi
14.2 was my best time on street tires at 6psi
see sig for dyno results
boosted at 115,000+ miles... currently at 141,000+
TODAY: car running like ****, possibly because of ignition/fuel problems... currently tryin to work out the bugs.
