All of the sudden....LEAN
Well the car had sat for about 2 days...went to drive it and I noticed my a/f meter read all the way lean ( I know its not accurate), it had never read that. I figured it was just the gauge, so I took it around the block, it started to hesitate bad, so it must be running lean...I pulled my spark plugs but they look fine, nice brown color.
Fuel pressure idle is 50 psi
Any ideas?
Setup
93 civic
95 JDM Gsr motor swap (Stock)
JRSC kit 6 psi.
255 holley fuel pump
New AEM fuel filter
aem fpr
aem fuel rail
stock injectors
MSD SCI ignition
Blaster ss coil
I have an AEM EMS and UEGO controller that I want to install but I need to get this problem fixed first.
Thanks
Will

Most likely a faulty regulator if no other changes have been made to the car recently.
I wouldn't rely too heavily on a standard A/F gauge. Get yourself an EGT setup

I have my fuel press. gauge on the fuel rail...when I adjust the regulator, the pressure still goes up or down...how would I test for a bad fpr.

this made absolutely no sense seeing as how an FMU *RAISES FUEL PRESSURE* which you say "wont work"

It'd be much easier to see whats going on if the gauge were inside of the cars cabin... that way you could see how your fuel pressure reacts to boost (should rise quickly as boost comes in with the FMU).
Try swapping our regulators with a buddy of yours... a stock regulator should be ok as long as you have the FMU installed correctly.

I just found my timing light, and checked my timing, I had originally set it at 10 but when I just checked it, it was at 18 ( anyone know why?) So I set it back to 10 (using the dist.) and it still shows lean on the a/f gauge and it still hesitates.
I had my buddy, look at the guage while I pushed the gas...at part throttle, little or no movement, at wot, it shoots up good.
I am at a loss.

allow me to translate
"You need more fuel, uping your fp (with a fpr) doesn't cut it. FMU or bigger injectors, and seeing that you already have an AEM, just get bigger injectors."
