alcohol vs intercooler?
finishing up a bike build and i don't have much space to run a IC. i understand that a IC doesn't really run out but I'm also not riding this thing 500 miles a day. i know its a vague question but how much can you really get out of alcohol injection without the use of a IC?

Nothing really, alcohol is injected to cool down the air heated from compressing it, thus it acts as an intercooler. But you're saying you're not putting a turbo, then why even bothering with an IC?
I wouldnt have alcohol or any other fluid injection as my primary source for charge cooling, its expendable, so in the event you accidentally run out of it and detonate the engine, thats not a cool thing either.

I know in the dsm world, the guys that go for records with the tiny stock turbo's (16g/14b), often run no intercooler and use water/meth injection for cooling, the reason they use no intercooler is less pressure drop with such a small turbo when they run them at the max. It works well. Consider using E85 for fuel also.
