Default Alcohol/Meth

hey guys i've been reading up on alcohol and meth injection kits. are they worth it? do they really wear seals down fast?

my brother has a meth injection kit on his SRT-4. and only turns on at WOT.
he made more power with it. and it kept his IAT's low.

im really considering this for my Built LS/VTEC turbo set up.
im looking to make 450whp on pump.

My M62 blower setup was 225+ IAT before water injection. I started with the 130cc nozzle from the AEM kit and the temps dropped about 15-20 degrees, then I moved up to the 315cc nozzle, and I was now under 200 degrees. I just today started using the 550cc nozzle, and so far, I'm seeing 175 degrees or less. I'm running 20psi with no intercooler, running plain water and starting to spray at 3psi, and going full spray at about 15 psi.

The whole time, I've been slowly raising the ignition timing as well. I'm up to 16-17 degrees of advance at full throttle/20psi, and looking at going for more.

It's a D series with an M62 blower kit. All I'm saying is that the intake temps are way down (50+ degrees) using the water injection. I don't have a lot of miles on the setup yet, nor have I had it dyno'd, so I can't comment any further than that. However, I do seem to be able to run a lot more ignition timing than I could without it.

That's great info considering your not even running any alky yet.
