Default AFR changes when headlights are on

I am running uberdata on 750cc injectors. For some reason I notice that I run slightly richer througout the map if I have my headlights on. I can see it on the widband... it is about .5 points richer. It does not put any noticable load on the engine, same rpm and map readings. Anyone every run into this?

you sure its a wideband? not a narrowband af gauge? thats just a voltage source change into the wideband, nothing major

Yup, it is a techedge WBO2. That does make sense that it could be a voltage change but I do notice a change in the engine tone as well. I have to let the car idle a little rich with the larger injectors like around 14 or so but I still get a little lean pop at that ratio. But when I put on the lights, AFR drops to around 13.5 and the lean pops go away. Not to concerned with it, just wondering.

Are you plugs fouled out? With my old setup the plugs were fouled and it would pop when running in the 14's but worked fine in the 13's.. Changed the plugs and it worked great in the 14's..

I am running 8 heat range plugs so that may be the problem. I just changed them a few weeks ago and it did not seem to change. The car seems to like around 13.5 for some reason.

thats about normal..

the lower the voltage (turn head lights on or fan kicks on) and with big injectors the a/f will richin a hair..unless you have a ems that has adjustable battery offset..

You mean like the AEM EMS does?

Cool. I guess I was thinking more about the effect of the voltage drop on the fuel pump rather than the injectors. That makes sense though b/c the fuel pump would have enough pressure almost all the time with just a little drop in voltage but I guess the injectors can't react as fast and stay open longer with the lower voltage. I am probably seeing more of a change at idle and less at higher RPMs when the alternator picks up the slack.

Thanks for the inputs.
