"too much played out" are you looking for form(aesthetics) or function(power)? are you looking for a manifold that looks pretty and is different? or a manifold that is going to perform differently than other manifolds on the market?
IMO who gives a **** what everyone else thinks if something is too played out or not, its your caR and if you like it why worry?
on the other hand if you want to try something new and be "different" more power to you

I like to experiment. I look in power as well. Top mount and ramhorn have proven to perform numbers. I know this one has proven as well but just would like more experiences since I do not see many.
