AFC Hack mess
I've been boosting with the AFC hack for about a month. 450cc injectors, Walbro 255LPH fuel pump, VAFC, stock map. My settings have been from as high as -8% at 1000 to -37% just after VTEC. Hacks been working well. I just can't get over 10.5 psi w/o throwing a code.
So, I got a 2 bar map from a turbo Dodge Daytona. Sensor voltage is about 2.3V compared to the 2.85 from stock sensor. With my sensor types at 10 in 9 out, it runs. I had it boosting good for one night. I got up to 13psi. A/F looked great on my wideband. Every since that night, I get really lean boosting over 11 psi. Like it was too good to be true. I tried increasing the fuel pressure. It hardly helped. PLus the car idles and runs shitty in vacuum. So now, I'm stuck
I don't know if I should swap in some 550ccs or keep playing with the 450ccs. I'm open for ideas, but would rather have experienced remarks.
Thanks guys

Check MAP sensor signal, you probably cracked the hose that connects to the MAP.
And, I thought Dodge MAP was 2.5 bar??</TD></TR></TABLE>
No J. None of my hoses are cracked.

That tells me all I need to know. Either vaccum hose is leaking or the MAP sensor diaphragm took a **** - it doesn't push the diaphragm far enough under boost to return enough voltage to have the ECU shoot enough fuel into the engine, and it doesn't pull the diaphram far enough back under vacuum to remove enough fuel for idle and part throttle. Your idle smells rich as ****, and won't rev past 2-3K, right?

Yeah, the idle is rich but I can rev past 3k. I don't get consistent results from the map though. I'm working on a rom to add boost tables to a P30 with P13 fuel and ignition tables. Hopefully, that will do the trick and I can get past this hack.

I'm really not sure whether it is 2 bar or 2.5 bar. I haven't been able to find any documentation on that.
