Default afc hack..CEL

i don't have my turbo in yet, but i installed my 460's and my afc to make my install easier this weekend. i got everything in, and everything is wired up correctly. when i started up the car, it threw a CEL (codes 71, and 72) random misfire in cylinder 1 and 2.

my setting is -48 all across...
240/460= .52
1- .52 = .48

So -48 should put me back to stock right? could the injectors for cylinder 1 and 2 be clogged or something?

Edit: or maybe i mixed up the wires from cylinder 1 and 2. Can someone tell what order the colors wires go for the injectors in a d16y8?

You ran too lean with -.48. You have to remember that those big injectors need more time to open. Generally speaking you have the formula right but you want to subtract .9 instead of 1.0.

240/460 = .52
(.52 - .9)*100 = -38%

You are running too rich on -35%, but not enough to be causing misfire codes. What plugs are you using, and what gap?

stock plugs gapped at the stock settings i guess...can't tell you off the top of my head.

it didn't throw the cel until the injector install though, so i know its not the plugs. do you think bad seals around the injectors can cause this?

If you are running richer than stock with the stock plug gap and the stock ignition you will get misfires.

If you don't have a wideband to use, be safe and set the plugs to the 0.030" you'll need to use for the turbo anyway.
