Default AFC blue wire mod... readings????

I have my S-AFC blue wire connected to the Oxygen sensor and am getting readings of 9.1 volts at WOT and a fluctuating voltage and cruise. Is this correct for a D16Z6 turbo on 450's and AFC hack?? (7psi)

Can u post your O2 sensor readings at idle, part throttle, WOT etc

thanks

paul

You must be mistaken, if your getting readings of 9.1v then you have the wires hooked up wrong. the stock o2 sensor is from 0 - .9v and the voltage moves all over the place anyways so you can't really tune using that. About the only thing that its good for is telling if your running really lean or really rich where you would have 0.000v at lean and 0.999v at full rich

sorry yeah typing mistake i meant 0.91V at WOT, is that about right for how rich my car should be running on 7-8psi boost?

thats pretty rich...draw back some to try and get .89 or so, even that is still really rich.

Is it really that rich??? I was worried I wasnt getting enuff fuel, its always over 0.9V at WOT does that mean i can trim the fuel back a bit???

What kinda reading should i be looking at when at part throttle off boost and part throttle on boost???

Il put it on the dyno ASAP but I have no money at the moment so jsut wanna check for the time being!!

thanks

it allows you to monitor the voltage coming from the o2 sensor

How many use this instead of an air/fuel guage?

I did a google search and found info on the blue wire mod readings.

http://www.thedropshop.tv/vafc.htm

Mostly about the hack, but at bottom the QnA section says .90v is good for turbo with the blue wire mod.
