Sean @ TorqueFreaks will fly to tune your car, you can contact him to see if he will be in your area soon, so that you can split the costs with other people. Mase is also another great EMS tuner and is also willing to fly to tune. Either one would do the job great.

Hey I'm also interested in that. I'm in RI and will be ready to tune by August, if you guys want to get a group of people together. Maybe do it at NE Dyno just outside of Worcester, I've been there before and those guys are pretty good.

heh i spoke to mark ( i think his name was?) one of the owners running up at the track last year.....he's running a ems in his 2g dsm...he said he wasnt fully capabile of understanding the full ems properties but was learning slowly...i guess their better off w/ hondata and easier systems to tune...

From what I heard last year, they had gone to an AEM EMS training seminar, so (I would think) they might know more now.
As always, do your homework before giving them money to touch your car.

im in the same boat as you guys.... i talked to the guys at Proven Performance in Milford CT. They charge $200 per hour but they are all trained and know thier ****... anyone know of them?
$200/ hr thats outrageous....well i guess not to bad...but thats like a usuall 100 for dyno/ and 100 for tuning...but still on average if you were to fine tune a ems...youd be there for hrs on end
Add me to the list. I got the civic that was used to develop all the base-maps, and I'm still poking along w/ .94n.
I need a serious re-tune, ... rumor has it some big Honda pro will be at Mike Dez racing in Seekonk soon, ... I'm hoping to meet up with him and pay him for a re-tune.
The other alternative is, if everyone else wants to get together and get either Torquefreaks or Mase out for a day for all of us. I'd be up for it.

Pruven is really a DSM shop. They accept you on as a customer, because obviously money is money, But I don't know how confident in their honda tuning skills I would be.

Sure, .. sounds good.
I hope to have my hands on my AEM uego by then. just to use it at whatever dyno facility to confirm their readings too...
I've got friendly relations with several shops in my area (southern MA / RI) if anyone has a preference.

well, I just finished assembling my engine and dropping it in my 92 CX yesterday, with the help of jmagner (even though I did all of the work). So I just need to get a few more parts for my turbo kit and I will be ready to tune....basically intercooler piping, and injectors. If I can get my hands on a P72 ECU i'll probably wait to get my car tuned with you guys, but if not, I'm going to need to get it tuned within a week or so....
hey what's up guys,i have just returned from va and getting my ems tuned by the wiz kid mase (masetuning.com) this kid is probably one of the most knowledgable guys i have ever met when it comes to tuning. i'm from boston and i found out he was coming to va and yes i towed my baby 8hr's to get a pro and i mean pro on the ems and hondata to tune my ****. all i can say to you guys is if your serious i can give him a call. i know he is extremely busy and is also going to cali for a tuning session soon. as long as his requirments are met and his room, board and flight are payed for and he can make the time,i'm pretty sure he'll do it. there has to be atleast ten cars,a great place to street tune and a great dyno facility to use.
your best bet is to find those things first, drop him a email and go from there.

if yall need someone to go up to tune the ems still, let me know... i specialize in the ems, i love it, its what i do.
the aem training class dosnt teach you how to tune cars.. .they teach you the menu's and the in and outs of the ems. if you have never tuned cars w/the ems and goto that class you will be damn near lost. all factory trained ems tuner means is we know how to use the software

I've collaborated with JDogg on several projects in the past, he's always been knowlegable and helpful, without the overinflated ego so common to the scene. And don't underestimate the value of factory EMS training, anyone will tell you that a fair percentage of the tuning process is getting the little glitches and gremlins worked out, this is where the factory instruction really shines.
Airfare from NC to CT/Mass would be pretty cheap, and I would trust NDogg to stay with me at my home.
