I'm not sure about IL but......
I hear Payn Tech. in MI is working with AEM systems. With all of the good things I hear about their tuning of Hondata systems...I'm sure they are good with AEM as well.

Ok check out AMS or automotosports located in Arlington Heights and I know that they are qualified aem tuners and distributors of the ems standalone system.
And yes they have a dyno..

Still then I wouldn't take "my" car there. (insert morals here: you should make your own choice) I've ran into one of their employees and I was "less than impressed". Lots of BS opinion without anything to back it up, plenty of mis-information (my main pet-peeve), etc.
Being cockey is fine if you can back yourself up, if not...well then you just look like an A$$. Spreading alot of false info to young, impressionable kids at the Schaumburg street races makes you look plain stupid....even if you work for a tuner shop. Again this more applies to the employee rather than AMS, but I'm thinking "why chance it?"
PS. sorry for the rant, it is a strong pet-peeve of mine though

The views of AMS employees are are simply that. I know that as much as it reflects on the shop, our employees are entitled to their own opinions outside of work. I sincerly hope that the views and opinions of our employees outside of work are not taken as a direct reflection of the company or the way that we do business.
On a lighter note we do have experience with the AEM EMS system, and do pride ourselves on our tuning abilities. Feel free to call me with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank You,

I'm guessing that you would be talking about me when you refer to the "cocky" AMS employee that is always at the Schaumburg street races talking to people.
I would appreciate if you have something to say that you say it in person rather than hiding behind a computer.
I'm not going to sink to your level and make this a a big deal here, next time you see me feel free to come over and talk to me about your issue with me and I'm sure we take care of it.
As for the shop, AMS is one of the best and we have the cars and the national records to back it up.

I appologize I meant no disrespect to AMS, I hear that you are very knowledgable on DSM's.
Hence the quote: **Again this more applies to the employee rather than AMS,............."**
If you are pretty good with AEM, I have someone I'm going to send over to you. He has interest in usinf an AEM system but is getting tired of asking questions without retting replies. I hope you can help him out.

I am also interested to see if you will tune a Hondata system. I would be interested.
Kore, www.driversimage.com also does the AEM EMS. If that is what you get, I would give them a call.
