Default AEM FPR

Is it true that this acts like a 'rising rate' FPR???? If so, would it be safe to use that instead of the Vortech FMU???

whats ure set up? fmu (12:1) wit stock injectors you should be fine / fmu (8:1) with 310 injectors is another way to use the fmu...if you go with the 12:1 need to use the FPR

I'm running a Vortech s/c with RC 310 injectors and Walbro fuel pump. I've been reading the AEM manual and it says it acts like an FPR.. The FMU can come off soon anyway as I need to break in the motor (CR after rebuild 9:1) and get my Hondata fitted. The reason why I'm thinking this is the car spluttering.. The full story is here..https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1028674" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow external">http://<a href="https://honda-tech.c...id=1028674</a>

I need to get this 'misfiring' sorted out Please help!

I'll even Fedex a crate of beer if anyone can solve this

The AEM acts as a 1 to 1 RRR (rising rate regulator)
1psig increase over baseline per psig of boost

It is not a replacement for an FMU, most FMUs are at least 8 psig increase over baseline per psig of boost
