AEM EMS Price. Good?
I was just talking to Performance Factory NYC and they told
me that for $2150 they would install and tune the aem ems system.
The price includes the aem ems, 3 bar map sensor, installed and tuned.
What do you think of this price?
Thanks

hey, i got one for ur car, brand new in the box for $1300 shipped (P&P AEM EMS for OBDI). email me if interested dandee2k@hotmail.com or call 832-236-3303. i work at a reputable shop in houston, so my stuff is legit. i just got it back from AEM for some upgrades. you'll save $850.. $50 - GM 3bar map sensor.. and i know it doesnt cost $800 to fully tune a car, its up to you.

http://www.importparts.com. I just bought one shipped for under $1330. As far as installing it, I can't see it taking long at all. As for tuning, it shouldn't take more than 3 hours or so for a good tech. Most place charge $180 or less for dyno tuning with O2. That's under $1900. Ask them for a better deal, unless they are really really good at tuning AEM EMS since there aren't that many out there with experience.
Oh and it's around $70 for an MSD 3 bar map sensor.

WATCHOUT for Performance Factory.. They are total and complete hacks there!
Talking with some of the NY guys when I was at the Atco IMSTAR event sunday said that those guys will totally screw you over. Apparently there was a story of how Vinny drove a customers Supra to the track and crashed it, then kinda said "sorry man" to the guy and gave him his car.
I have personally never done business with them, but after hearing things like this I would never trust them with my car, or even yours...

To much money. The AEM as stated above is $1330. The 3 bar was like $57 and the plug was $18 for the AC Delco dealer here in AZ. Plus as also mentioned above the $200 credit from AEM for dyno time. You shouldn't need to dyno to much if you have a competant tuner. Just get a good base/start program first and then build from that. Best of luck

Also, pardon my ignorance. But, doesnt the AEM just replace the stock ecu? Basically out with the old and in with the new just by unplugging and plugging back in 3 harnesses? And installing the 3bar map should be maybe all of 5 minutes.
So basically they are gonna charge you $700 some dollars to tune it?
Refer to my original reply a couple spots up!

The cheapest place I found the EMS was here: http://www.speed1performance.com/aem_plugnplay.htm and it was $1330 shipped. Where can I get it cheaper. I need it for the 90-94 Eclipse.
