What? If using an EBC you are most likely going to use both the top and side port on the WG.

The AEM boost control works well... I've only got 1 major quarrel with it: when doing VSS-based boost levels, you can only adjust the boost in 16mph increments. So, if you want to do mimic a gear-based boost control setup, your gearing may not allow it (my stock GSR gearing witah 9-9.5k redline didn't allow me to ramp the boost up between the 2-3 shift on my personal car).

The AEM-recommended max-duty cycle on the GM solenoid also seems to lower your max boost when compared to other EBC's

Well after 2 pulls, I got the VSS to work with JDogg's and D-tuned help. I actually spool about 100 rpm's faster it looks like from the logs.

The funny thing is,I had a pretty good idea of how it worked, but I just made it much harder on myself my over thinking it. The more and more I think about it, everything about the EMS is easy to understand, but I just make it harder on myself by looking into things too much.

Anyways, thanks for breaking it down, the VSS is kinda like tuning Air Fuel.
