not too many people are just gonna hand over a log, or cal file. especially with an answer like that.
you get more bees with honey, than with ****
why cant you just alter your timing maps?

Re: AEM EMS!!!!!!! (mrbsponge)
i was not trying to be rude at all. my bad, a lot mroe honda guys will see this form rather than aem's
Im having trouble telling the difference between noise and knock. maybe some of you could look at my logs. what is noise usually under in low rpm im getting rather large spikes 1.xx Volts with a bunch of timming pulled at no or very low loads.
i know i know next time ill post an internal log
but let me know what you guys think

Re: AEM EMS!!!!!!! (richeybrooks)
To do a baseline knock pull run conservative timing (base map/stock) at lowest boost or NA. Do a pull in a low gear, maybe 2nd or 3rd at low throttle, maybe 25% and hold it steady to redline. Under these conditions real knock should not occur and the knock inputs you recorded should be engine noise. This should allow you to modify your knock filter against a known constant. However I found the base maps filter was very accurate as is.
