Default Advise on auto tranny boost build

ok guys this is what i got , im working with a 99 civic dx coupe and its got the auto tranny. im kinda new to the tuner side of the spectrum seeing as i've had 2 mustangs and a camaro. now i wasn't planning on boosting the car when i bought it but now the jdm bug has bit me bad. i've heard and researched alot about the d16y7/y8 minime builds and i'm gonna go that way,but don't have the means of the funds to do the manual tranny swap. so what are you guys thoughts on boosting auto tranny civics? Is there any problems or special porocedures im looking at running into? thanks.

boosting the car is gonna cost you more than a auto to manuel swap. don't do it just covert to manuel and boost later.

Do the auto to manual first. If you can't afford it now, don't mod it because running a auto hard it WILL fail. Even with a stock motor.
