Advantages to externally dumped wastegate?

Advantages to externally dumped wastegate?

i know most people loop back into exhaust for emission reasons since florida doesnt do emissions I have an option here. What are the advantages or disadvantages?

more power since its not exhausting through the exhaust system and turbo can breat free-er

Sounds way cooler and helps controll creeping if that is an issue.
