Hey Guys,

I am new here to the Honda-Tech forums. I have a 93 Honda Civic EX with the stock engine. I think it's a 1.6L. It is all stock except it has a nice set of headers on it. I was wanting to run some NOS on it to get some extra power but I don't really know what would be best. I don't want to blow up my engine running NOS. What shot of NOS would be safest for my engine? It has 258,000 miles on it. I have done a search but couldn't find the info I was looking for. Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

I don't understand why I would want to do a swap. I thought honda engines lasted forever as long as you took care of them. Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks.

yea but adding "NOS" is not taking care of it. Get the engine check out to see if its healthy.

have you owned the car from the dealer floor?? then you dont know if it was well taken care of. and just like everything else in the world after age it gets worn and if you put nitrous in your car it would prolly blow the rings right out of it! do a swap and get the same power without nitrous

I ordered a Zex wet NOS kit and I am going to run a 75 shot jet. Where on the intake do I put this before the carburetor? Thanks in advance guys for any help that you can give me. I love my Honda and I want it fast.

A. 75 shot should be great on that engine.
B. It doesn't have a carburetor, it's fuel injected.
C. Just pick somewhere in the intake pipe before the throttle body to install the nozzle.
