Default Adding a layer to a OEM D16 headgasket

I have a extra center layer from a Y8 headgasket from my last motor build and I was wondering if anyone has added a extra center layer to lower their compression a bit more. I want to do this becasue I want to use a Z6 head on my A6 block but I'd like the compression a bit lower.
