Default 2 oem headgaskets or get a aftermarket one?

im putting together my stock internal motor and im curious if i should get 2 oem gaskets or just buy a aftermarket one. i want something to lower my compression. it will be jdmb16a head with 95 b18 block. turbo. thank you

u can get a thicker headgasket at http://www.inlinepro.com give them a call and see what they recomend they have stock motors with headgaskets making well over 300hp

Drill the rivets out and re-rivet the 2 together and you'll be fine. Works good and is cheap.

Stock headgaskets retail for what $80 from Honda. X2=160

Cometic .43 gasket will lower the compression and is like $100 shipped.

BTWm you really dont need to lower the compression

It would probably be cheaper to buy a low compression HG compared to 2 OEM HG. But if you want to run two I suggest a product called indian headgasket treatment. You can get it @ NAPA. Just put it between the 2 gaskets. And remember when you use a thicker gasket it throws your timing off so adjustable cam gears will be needed.

i think i will buy a oem honda gasket . since i get a employee discount from my friend.
