Get an ACT XT-SS clutch they work realy well for under 400whp, and have excellent pedal feel...
The HD-SS would be pushing it...

Re: (PrettyLude)
The XT-SS will take some serious abuse, has perfect pedal feel and lasts a long time, and you definitly won't have holding problems in the sub 400 range...

I fried an HDSS with a stock B16.
If you're not using slicks, XTSS would be fine for you!

you werent doing something right becuase there should be no reason why an upgraded clutch of that caliber would give up on a stock car unless you beat the hellout of it on slicks

You got it. Slicks + organic disc = goodbye disc. It lasted for about a year of drag racing on street tires though. As for not doing something right, if you aren't breaking parts you're being a baby

That's exactly why you didn't cook yours
Car with more power = launches at lower RPM = less hurt on the clutch. I launch at 7500 - 8k rpm.
