puck or full face clutch?
ive had my cm stage 4 clutch w/ lightn flywheel for 9 months and now its starting to slip.. very dissapointed in the longitvity of this clutch.. i want to choose a longer lasting clutch that still grabs hard.. my car is an everyday driveable, weekend racer.. what brand of clutch would you guys reccomend, and what kind of clutch, fulll face or puck? ive done alot of searching and cannot make up my mind.. thanks for your help..
the type of clutch should be based on how much power you are PLANNING to put down.
a 6 puck race clutch on a stock motor is pointless.
i had a 6 puck dual diagaphram Action (NOT ACT) clutch on my b16/civic. i LOVED daily driving it. sure it was a pain in the *** in traffic, but i had fun driving it. it grabbed soooo hard. (was planning on boosting the b16 but sold the car for my 240)
Im now running a RPS full face disc on the rb25det thats in my 240 thats good to about 400 crank HP. i figure if i go any over that i have to upgrade the transmission anyway.
anything is daily driveable. it just depends on what that means to you.
