every bearing works if the clearances are measured and setup properly. honda bearings are just a little more forgiving

I hate to sound like a broken record but seriously use the search feature. This has been covered literally dozens of times. There is nothing wrong with ACL bearings as long as you can get the clearance right. They are a very very high quality bearing. ACL supplies bearings to many automotive manufacturers and make a quality product. Most people think everything "Honda" bearings are automatically better but don't realize that Honda outsources their bearings to a qualified supplier...someone like ACL. Its not like Honda is making these things. The OEM bearings to allow for fine tuning of clearances but for the average home builder using plastigauge you wouldn't be able to tell a green from a brown since the difference is so small. If it were me....i would buy the set of ACL's for somewhere around $40 and if you end up needing one or two "Honda" bearings because the ACL's dont give you the right clearance than do it.
