ACL bearing ??

Default ACL bearing ??

I heard about those bearing ... im rebuilding my whole engine ... do they worth it... I was going to put OEM bearing .... and were I can find them ?? if it is better than OEM Honda

i heard they are good...their specs match all Honda Greens i guess, but alot of guys never have clearance problems i guess...anyway if u lookin for B-series, have fun, i cant find anyone that has them in stock for my car...i guess its gonna be a couple weeks or so

no it is for a D serie.... I think that I will go with OEM ... less trouble ...

If you are using aftermarket rods the acl bearings will work fine. The reason you have to get different sized honda bearings is because the specs on the big end of the rod always comes out a little different, with aftermarket rods the specs are USUALLY about the same but you should still plastigauge it to make sure. (assuming you bought a qaulity product) this is how is was explained to me. Hope it helps.

OEM will be more trouble. ACL is one size fits all. OEM has different colors that represent different thicknesses. The clearance has to be measured and the right size ordered. The prices are about the same. I suppose you could just order the middle size OEM bearings and they would be comparible to the ACLs.

how a bearing could be universal ??? I mean ...how can it replace the good clearance ???

I know that Honda need the good color and all this... my engine builder would use plastiguage to get the good clearance but I find strange to order middle size bearing ???

Most auto manufacturers only use one bearing size. Honda is one of the few with the color coded bearing system.
