about to undergo a Vortech install/head swap
in like 2-3 weeks, i will be installing my aftercooled vortech on my 99 si. thing is, i was gonna go turbo, was building nice setup...but got laid off my good job, and just went this route..quick easy power.
anyways. so i have a b8c1 head thats ported and polished, ferrea valve springs/retainers. crower turbo cams, skunk2 IM, and my stock b16 TB. the bottom end remains stock for now..just breathes well. so. will i run into any problems runnign this? i have a .040 cometic head gasket, bringing compressoin around 10.1:1 lil less than stock. should be safe. im wondering if i will run into any problems though. you all are "the" honda people..so any tips or know of any problems i may incure while doing this install..thanks!!

Im never comfortable installing many projects at once. So when you run into problems later on, and you will, you wont wonder if the problem is related to the blower or head swap.
My vote it to install the head first. Make sure there are no cooling or head gasket problems. And then install the supercharger the next week. Take it slow and do it right.
