? about oil feed line size

? about oil feed line size
ok i hear everyone sugst a -3 npt size hose. but what is that size in inches. i have a 5/8 inch hose and i was wandering if that was to big. if so then what size should i go down to. thanks

Use the 5/8" hose for the return line. 5/8 is equivalent to 10/16 = -10 AN. Perfect for a return line. If you use that line on your feed, your engine is gonna smoke like a chimney.
