This might sound dumb, but make sure your plugs are gapped correctly(.030), torqued down, and that your plug wires are completely on.

might be too rich, causing a misfire... code 73 is a misfire, there's no doubt about that.
i'd do a compression check just to be safe though.

Does anyone know what else would be causing the 73 code?(besides being spark plug related?) I've only had the kit on my car for about two weeks. I've only driven it for like 5 days since the install till the 73 code came up. I changed the plugs on monday( to the ngk plugs used in drag gen 3 kits ). 2 days after the code came back up. Since then the car is sitting till i can figure out why the code is coming up. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Can the 73 code be injector related?.......

FMU.. take the fuel return line off of the FMU and put it back on the fuel regulator. Reset the ECU by taking the neg. battery terminal off. Turn the car on and drive around, but DO NOT BOOST. BTW, do you have something other than the stock fuel regulator?

The Greddy kit uses the FCU aka Blue Box with 310cc injectors instead of an FMU. Unfortunately, the misfire codes and code 13's seem to be common with this particular setup. There was some info on Club Si awhile back about getting in touch with Greddy to help resolve these problems. You might wanna go search for that.

i have delt with this first hand, an am still dealing with it on a 99 gsr with greddy. make sure all injectors a properly seated an there is no overlooked gaskets on the fuel rail, also make sure that the fcu is soildered into the ecu an no t-taps. make sure ur not running extra rich. thats about all the hekp i can give yaa....

FYI, he isnt using a FCU or the injectors, he is using the FMU and stock injectors.
