this is my brothers build, stock d16y8, 99 civic ex,stock fuel system 93 octane, used miniram manifold 20$,my tial wastegate just to block the port until we get a plate, dna-motoring turbo chinese 50mm internal wastegate 8psi chinese oil feed and drain 200$, 2.5 vband dp 60$, bkr7e spark plugs 10$,ngk wires 60$, no bov, my used intercooler and piping im letting him use, my used s300 v2 ecu 400$, aem wideband 170$, sunpro boost gauge 30$. roughly 950$ turbo build with over half that being electronics, it has a 45min long drive street tune by me, wideband not connected to ecu yet running open loop, need to add bov. we took it for the first drive last night,conservativly tuned, in boost afrs 10-11, 7.5 psi max on the map sensor, boost cut set at 10, havent checked data log yet but im sure inj duty cycle is up there. pulls harder than i thought it would, from reading simular builds im guesing its around 200 hp, seems just as fast as my built b18c1 ej8

Seems good, only put any blow off and go up to 10-11 psi with 16 degrees total timming

turbo didnt fall off, wastegate flange on the manifold did crack though, added catchcan, different wastegate, still no bov, removed internal wastegate, getting boost creep issue from 5psi at 6k to 10psi by 6800, lowered rev limit by 1k for now. hondata ecu went, constant cel and roaming/surging idle and very lean on wideband,also cant talk to it anymore with smanager. on stock computer runs fine, sitting for now waitng for another s300

I don't understand this setup. Which ECU is this running on? Is it 100% stock ECU or chipped with something?

Also, what's with the no BOV? I mean, its a chinacharger, so its kinda f**ked either way, but there's no point in speeding up that process...

lol that will be a funny day, right now its parked on no ecu, it was on hondata s300 v2 that seems to have **** the bed, waiting for another hondata s300. its my little brothers car, i can bring a horse to water but cant make it drink, if he cant be bothered to add bov, thats on him

ya stock injectors, yes turbo is still fine, lifted truck redneck ran a stop sign up the street from my house, clipped the front end and totaled the car, i bought the swap from my brother, cars being striped then junked, played around with making it a drag car but the driver side frame is bent all the way back at the fire wall, were the passenger side only bent past the main motor mount
