Hey guys tomorrow I am going to look at a potential trade for my gsr eg.
The car in question is a boosted b16a ek hatch. I know all of the normal things to look for when buying a na Honda but I have never owned a boosted car and was wondering if there are any specific things I should look for/ check before trading. Thanks

 

Ask if it has a tune ...and look to see what kind ... If not don't buy it cuz it's gonna blow lol. Look at the quality of the turbo kit and it will show u the quality of the owner and the normal stuff like leaks and half *** ness ... See if it has the essential gauges like oil pressure and air fuel too ... If not most likely its janky .... See if it's got any type of internal work on the engine .... Trades are always sketchy to me since neither side has money which means neither side can afford to fix their own car lol

Well he showed me a slip for the tune it made 280 on 8lbs with a t3/t4. My car has buddyclub spec 3 cams, matching gears, buddy club P1 springs and retainers, Itr valves, pported head, 450cc dsm blacktops, twin disk exedy clutch. His has supertech valvetrain, eagle pistons, gsr cams, blockgaurd, it does have a three gauge pillar pod. It's not a high end turbo but I do have money to buy a new nice turbo.
