96 civic ex ?? what to do
k i sold my teg and still have my turbo kit(b series)
i am buying a 96 ex now here is what i have to work with
i have enough to either
1.buy a ls swap and thats its ...run my kit at low boost maybe 8-10 pounds on stock ls motor
2.or keep the ex sohc vtec motor and use the money to build that motor ...trade my max manifold and dp for a d series one and call it the day?
my question is which would be faster a sohc with pistons, rods, studs maybe sleeved? or stock ls on boost?
specs on turbo are t3/t04e 57 trimm 63 ar running emanage
any opinions would be great guys especially those who are running those type of setups daily

all depends on how much boost you're going to be running...i'd say keep the ls and boost that rather then building up the SOHC.

well on the sohc i would run as much boost as the block could handle safely
but on the ls with stock bottom end prolly around 8-10 pounds
what set up do you have and specs?
