93 Honda civic ex B18c1 turbo help
Hello,
I'm new and learning about cars. I want to eventually turbo my B swap and was wondering what I would need in order to do that. I would as well like to upgrade my displacement from 1.8 to 2.0 and was wondering what parts I should get for that as well.
Thanks

<p>You are required to put in a modicum of effort around here. Start reading.</p><p>https://honda-tech.com/forced-induct...2A%2A-1024174/</p><p>"Upgrading" your displacement isn't something you can just slap parts at and have it magically happen. You would have to shave way too much off your cylinder walls to make that work. Don't waste your time.</p>

<p>Don't post in that thread. Just read. Then read it again. Then go eat dinner. Come back, read it a third time. Go to sleep, and have someone read it outloud while you sleep. Wake up tomorrow, and listen to a recording of it in the shower. Keep listening while you drive to work. During your lunch break, read it some more.</p><p>Do you see where I'm going with this? Read, read, read. All of the information you need is right there for the taking, you just have to go read it.</p>

Here's the best advice you're gonna get...
Undertaking the fairly large, technical, and expensive proposition of *properly* turbocharging a Honda is not something to be done when you have 0 technical knowledge and are only just learning automotive basics. Neither is building and engine or doing an engine swap.
Stick to the basic bolt ons and get your knowledge base up. If you're dead set on an engine swap and/or turbocharging already then I suggest you find a local reputable shop and pay them to do the work. With you knowing nothing and more than likely never having done any sort of modifications to a car it's a certainty that you'll do things wrong, use the wrong parts, break ****, and then get in over your head and wind up taking it to a shop anyways.
While it might expensive a shop will do it right and there's a reason why shops charge what they do. Turbocharging an NA car is much more involved than just bolting some parts on.
