Re: 84mm pistons (drealgsr)
Only place I know of that has them on hand I believe is Endyn but from all the stories on here about them it might be best to custom order them from JE. BTW, can anyone confirm if Endyn pistons are manufactured by Wiseco?

Re: 84mm pistons (TurboInteg95)
I can confirm that they are made by Wiseco. I know Brian Nutter from Wiseco, he'll tell you the same. I've ordered two sets of pistons and a fuel pump from Endyn within the last 3 months. I have gotten nothing but OUTSTANDING customer service from them.

Re: 84mm pistons (VaporTrail)
JE has them in stock - but you have to order the B20VTEC ones unless you gte custom made. The compression will be off unless you have a B16A head.
As for Endyn, llok on their site (www.theoldone.com) under Contact Us and call one of their distributors...they should have them in stock (in 84.5mm) and can get them to you in a few days if needed.

Re: 84mm pistons (VaporTrail)
True that vapor ... The box they come in actually says WISECO, endyn machines the valve reliefs and finishes the pistons tops - I wouldn't have bought anything else.
Not to mention they have been very curtious (sp?) over the phone - the board is another story however I spoke with rick.

Re: 84mm pistons (stizzit)
I just finished building a b18c1 with RS Motorsworks oversized sleeves and Endyn 84.5mm 12:1 pistons. I used RS because Golden Eagle said the cylinder wall was cracked to far down. I do like the way GE's look better though. He is still breaking it in so no word on the power. But he didn't spend the $ to get the combustion area opened up so I'm kinda worried about detination. What do you guys think is a good redline since he rod/ stroke ratio is even worse now? Or is that really even a problem? He is also using Endyn/ Eagle rods. This was the fourth set of pistons and second set of rods from Endyn and I don't care if he is working out of his house I will buy more. The service has been great. On my first set I screwed up a ring and I called and Larry got me another set the next day.

Re: 84mm pistons (b18bturbo)
I called JE they cost 650 since they are custom
I just want 84mm(added wall thickness) and Wouldnt it be the same to order from wiseco and probably be over 100 cheaper. A local shop here sells wiseco real cheap

Re: 84mm pistons (drealgsr)
HX- My friend and I was thinking the same thing but Tuan over at superhonda was telling me to be careful something about rod/stroke ratio? Is there any downside to running 84mm pistons in a gsr block? Does anyone know what 84.5mm pistons in a b18c1 yield liter wise? 1.95 or so?

Re: 84mm pistons (Hybrid 93si)
The size of the pistons does not affect the rod/stroke ratio.
Rod/stroke ratio is determined by the length of the road and the stroke of the motor (crank).
I believe I saw the post by Tuan and I think he was just outlining the importance of the rod/stroke ratio - but not anything in relation to the piston size.
As far as I an see...there are no downsides to resleeving to 84mm.
Displment will be around 1970cc I believe.

Re: 84mm pistons (redline)
Ummm... I'll drop Endyn an email later but are you guys talking about NA ot trubo pistons because I need a set of 84.5mm slugs that will yield a 9:1 compression ratio on a B18C.
The person who was supposed to get me a set of custom pistons flaked...
And... yes, Endyn pistons are made by Wiseco. I used Wiseco pistons when I raced Kawasaki Tecate three wheelers and 4 wheelers a very long time ago so I know Wiseco makes a good product.
