Default 84mm bored b16

Just curious if there are any down falls with 84mm b16 running about 2.0 bar? Like piston wobble or breaking rings with such a large bore and short stroke. No one has been able to answer this to my needs. You know like in theory it's not a good idea, but I reality does this stuff happen?

I´m doing just that thing. It´s better to bore than to stroke. The b16 has a 1,74 rod/stroke raito witch is close to perfect so don´t mess with that. You should have no problem at all.

I'm already aware of all that info I need to know about it at say ~10,000rpm. And please don't tell me that no cam makes power there, because I'm going to be running ~40psi of boost in the coming spring with the ferrea rollers and crane all motor cams and 9.5/1 scr.

Well it's obviously going to be larger and therefore slightly heavier, which does effect how high you can rev. Assuming everything else is up to 10kRPM standards I would think it'd be fine.

if youre gonna run rollers, you better get some DEEP *** valve reliefs in some super thick pistons!

good luck, its a long road.
