hmm isnt the cylinder walls with 84.5mm pistons will be thinner than 81mm pistons ?
will the sleeve with 84.5mm pistons can hold 20psi+ if it tuned properly ??

I believe when you sleeve and bore to 84.5, they install thicker sleeves to begin with, and those are braced against the inside of the block for their full length.

I believe there are a number of people that sucessfully run 84.5 mm pistons w/ no problems. I think that's what I'm gonna use when I find a spare block to send to GE. With proper tunning GE sleeves are pretty much indestructable.

if you look at their paperwork that comes with your block, it says...

for turbocharging vehicle, do not exceed 60 psi of boost, otherwise you will void the warranty...
LOL

wonder what 60psi feels like....

I belive Garrett GT35 does 60 psi, and their GT42/45 can do 75 psi I think...I forgot where I read it, but I remember my eyes widening...800hp+ potential...60psi turbos aren't that uncommon, it's the engines that are built to withstand 60psi that are. I think HKS' Supra GT Twins kit has turbos that can do 60psi, but I forgot...its been a while since I have been reading about anything about a T3/T4 hybrid...
