Default 75 Shot?

I have a ls/v ls block with Civic Typr R pistons and Integra type r cams walbro fuel pump.headers/manifold/throttle body/ etc. From what i have seen on the internet is that my compression is around a 12.5-12.7.1 ratio. Can i put a 75 shot on it, either wet or dry( which u think is best ). ONly running on C16 gas. The car has a tune already. but without n2o. Would putting the 75 shot on it not be a good idea . But with the compression being alittle high i wasnt sure. Because the i know oem pistons are cast so just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the input.

Nitrous and compression go well together, just make sure to retard your timing accordingly.

you could easily do a 75 shot dry. I had a 75 shot on my bolt on b16. it lasted for a few months untuned. But if i would have tuned it im sure i would still be on nitrous today. My friends stock ls was spraying a 125 shot but after the 200th time it broke a rod untuned. The main thing to do is tune the car. If you tune it you can do as high as a 125.

Thanks... I know not to use it on pump gas, But wasnt sure if it would hold together. The rods are stock. well i'll try 75 to be on the safe side and then maybe i'll move up to 125 maybe

With that high of compression I wouldn't spray unless you are on some type of race gas. 12:5 or 12:7 is pretty high for pump gas. So just make sure you spray on race gas and have the right fuel jet(wet kit) in and you should be fine.

i always used 32 jet in my dry kit. NOS recomends a 42 jet but my car would detonate. Some people told me that they used a 36 jet. So it all depends on what your tuner tells you.

You could run that shot dry, but you are better of with a wet kit. Its just safer.

Best of luck with your project.
