7-8 psi on stock JDM B18C
I've just got my GSR motor in my hatch, and i'm researching which direction i will go into. All motor or turbo, i've pretty much decided to go turbo, but i'd like to know what i will need to do to my motor to reliably run 7-8 psi. I will also be on a tight budget since i'm a college student, so i'd be piecing together a kit. How much should i expect to spend? I really just want something fun to drive that i could autox and dragrace on the weekends...this is my daily driver, so it would also have to be reliable. I'm thinking of doing a nice junkyard kit. (not all junkyard stuff, but no bling-bling bov's or anything like that)
Basically, could i keep my motor internally stock and not run into problems?
and, what turbo/fuel management should i use?

would a b16 head be worth getting, since it would lower the compression, and since it supposedly flows better? OR should i just get a thicker gasket?

I spent 9 months spending $$$ on semi worthless NA parts. I have a jdm b18c, now breathing 6.5lbs, amking 240 and running 12's. I spent ablout 5k on my entire (fuel, exhaust, gauges, tuning, everything) turbo setup and i could have saved about 1k if i would have then what i know now. Search every part on this board before you buy.

just buy a t3/t4 and afc hack it. thats about 7-800 right there, that leave 6-700 for piping, manifold, etc. tinker219 sells nice mani's for about 250 on here.
check the classifieds on here, they are awsome. used isnt always bad. used gauges and **** will only run about 100.
but 1500 really isnt a lot, plan to expect closer to 2k for everything.
hope this helps
