68mm throttle body, is it worth it?

Default 68mm throttle body, is it worth it?

Ok guys the local shop as 65 and 68 mm throttle bodys for 104.99 this is crazy. i am running a D-series turbo and wanting to know if its worth it and will i be able to tell some difference?

Those are for pussies, real men use a 75mm Mustang TB.





But seriously, when I was running a turbo I put a 65mm on mine and didn't notice a difference, and plenty of people make a lot of power on stock TB's.

All you need is to port match your intake manifold opening. Anything other than that is a waste.

what size is your IC pipes? u don't need to get one bigger than your IC pipes IMO.

so if you're ic pipes aren't bigger than 2.5 then u don't need bigger than a 65mm throttle body

im running the stocker but the stock gsr is alot different then a stock single cam....those things are tiny..then again so are the ports in the he ad
