Default 62-1 on a b16????

I just downloaded this video that had an h22 with a 62-1 turbonetics turbo on it. Was wondering if this turbo is to big for a b16??

my friend had a 60-1 on his stock b16 and he didnt see fulll boost (10psi) till 5500. kinda laggy for a stock rev limit motor and the 62-1 is bigger if im not mistaken. theres turbos that will be better suited for a stock b16.

Yeah, I was looking at the 60-1 turbonetics(63 trim) for my lsvtec build, vs the t3/t04E 57trim, they are both HP rated about the same. But was wondering if the extra HP gain from the 60-1 is worth the lag. I believe the 57trim t3/t04e turbo is a perfect size for under 450hp goal, but was wondering the difference between 60-1 vs 57trim t3/t4?

60-1 is rated at like 630 hp. its much bigger and laggier than a 57 trim

Not a very smart choice for a b16. EXTREMELY laggy, and the powerbad is very short.

A buddy of mine has a sohc civic with the turbonetics kit running 14psi. He to has the 60-1 and he likes it. Im kinda on the side that bigger is better. If I make more than the next b16 at the same boost level making more power with just a bigger turbo then why not?? Honestly I would like to have something that is laggy off the line but a bat out of hell after 1st gear.

i rather have a smooth power gain then just one massive gain
easier to get traction
