500hp h22.... what turbo to use???
Whats up guys, Im in the process of building a H22 and I'm trying to break the 500hp mark. Ive got a built bottom end, 9:1 CR stock bore and stroke. Head has Crower valve springs and retainers with Type S cams, adj cam gears, Skunk2 intake manifold. Anyways, Im at the point of buying a turbo and Im having trouble on what to get. Im stuck betweem The T4 flanged 62-1 with .70ar compressor and .68 ar turbine...or the T3 divided flanged 70 trim with .70ar compressor and .84 ar turbine...or the T3 undivided 60-1 with .70 ar compressor and .63 ar turbine.
Aybody with experience on this or opinions would greatly be appreciated.
This is a street/strip car. let me know what I need to reach my goal.
Thnks in advance!

it also depends on what you plan on reving his motor too? he will have a better power band with the .70 or .63 a/r but depends track or street use?

well I have the valvetrain to rev high, but I have a stock crank, so I only plan on reving to 8000-8200. This will be a street/ strip on the weekends car

if thats all your going to take it to then the bw256 or 366 with the smaller a/r they offer you will be in great shape but please understand these are high pressure turbo which are built to play in the 25psi and up this is were they are a total beast so it would be a good choice for a street setup when on low boost and at the track turn it up and you will be fine
