5 bolt internal wg down pipe question
Hi,
I am fabbing a 3" dp for a customer and he has a small internally gated turbo.
My question is about the 1" wg port, with externally gated setups with the 5 bolt flange blocks this port off.
On his factory dp its has a bell mouth welded to the 5 bolt that combines turbine opening and wg port and routs them into the same pipe.
Can I block this wg port off, run an external 1" dump tube out of the flange or do I have to fab up a collector like the factory bell mouth?
