5 bolt flange with 3" dp?
How do you guys run 3" downpipes with a 5 bolt flange since the opening is only 2.5"? Do you run a 2.5 and then flare it out to 3" or just weld a 3" pipe to the flange and dremel the flange out to 3"? Also, I think if 3" piping is used, it would obstruct the bolts.

You can get a 5 bolt 3" flange that allows you to weld a 3" pipe right onto it. If you are thinking about buying one check out http://www.atpturbo.com which is located in Fremont. They have a JS series flange which is 2.5" and tapers out to 3". Since you are located in NorCal it will take a day or two to get to where you are at. When I payed through paypal they didn't even wait for my paypal to clear which ususlaly takes 3-5 days. As soon as the paypal was set they would ship my items out a few hours later. If you order early enough it will even ship out on the same day.

you can use a normal flange cus the turbo opening is only 2.5" or less on some i know the 5 bolt sc61 is bigger and there is a flange made just for that , but you will be fine to use a normal 5 bolt, and for bolts I always use allen head ones do to clearence issues,
