If you dont mind the drive to Maryland I would suggest Justice Racing Engines.

If not RPM NYC use todo good work. Have not heard from/about them in a while.

Hearing a couple good things about Synapse Motorsport as well.

if you're on long island i'd recommend SK speed in farmingdale (Route 109 - nassau / suffolk border)

I don't think they do assembly but they do any and all machine work you can think of. They have been around a long time (20+ years).

Honestly your best bet would be to send the block out. Most shops around here charge an arm and a leg for machine work. Spend the 200 hundred bucks on shipping and send your block either to Earl or Camp1320.

My K20A2 block will be sent to Camp this week and when it returns I will be doing the build. Its really not that hard just time consuming.

Or take a look at z10eng.com. They quoted me 1375 for AEBS sleeves and a final bore and hone.

I have seen z10 finished product,,,, leaves a lot to be desired. Give Jim Justice a shout 301 624 1000, you are not going to find a better machinist... I am not biased His engines are in some of the fastest import cars in the country....

Thanks for the heads up on Z10. My engine leaves today for Camp1320, but I will refer fellow members to Jim. Where is his shop located, any info?

I got my midsleeves put in at Weston Machine, in Piscataway NJ. He builds a lot of the quick 8 motors for guys at the local dragstrips.

Not in NJ or NY but not to far away in southern NH.

We have Darton MID sleeve install mastered and they are the only sleeves we do now.

We also stand behind our work with a one year warranty against leaks, sinking, and/or shifting.

I can get you referrances if needed.
