I got a set of 450cc injectors off someone here on ht and the black part (opposite of the blue end) is all cracked, revealing the metal inside. Is this gonna mess up anything? does that mean the injector is useless? LMK thanks.

that is the pintle cap, just remove it, it shouldnt harm anything

 

u sure it wont make the injectors spray all crazy or leak out?

anyone ever have this problem have have takent he black thing out all together?

I just asked this ? on hmt and they said forget the cap, and they have never had a prob without it, but that is hmt.
I am about to run mine without, and im not worried.

 

i ran a set without the pintle cap with no problems

They will run just fine without the pintle cap, it is only there to protect the nozzle from dropping. Just don't drop the injectors after you remove them, and you're golden
